Terms of Service
Last updated November 1, 2026
These terms govern your use of FinCal API (“FinCal”, “we”, “us”), including the API at fincalapi.com, the dashboard, and related documentation. By creating an account or using the API you agree to them.
Your account and API keys
- You must give a valid email address and keep your sign-in details secure.
- API keys are your responsibility. Keep them secret, and revoke any key you think has been exposed. You are responsible for usage made with your keys.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- Exceed or try to get around rate limits, or share keys to pool limits.
- Disrupt, overload, probe, or scan the service.
- Resell or redistribute the API or its data as a competing calendar data service.
- Use the service for anything unlawful.
We may suspend or revoke keys or accounts that break these rules.
Data accuracy
Market calendars change: exchanges announce ad-hoc closures, and published schedules are revised. We work to keep the data current but do not guarantee it is complete or error-free. FinCal is not financial advice. Confirm critical dates with the relevant exchange or clearing house before relying on them for trading, settlement, or other decisions.
Availability and changes
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may change, limit, or discontinue features, rate limits, or the service, and will try to give reasonable notice of significant changes.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, trading losses, or lost data, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
Ending your use
You can stop using FinCal and delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We may end access for breach of these terms.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. Questions: [email protected].
